Preparation for Adult life- Mechanics

Interview with
Vikaas Ahmed 10RM

1. Why did you choose mechanics as an option?

“I like motor vehicles and instead of wasting money by going to a shop, I can learn to repair things for myself.”

2. What do you hope ‘mechanics’ will help you to do in the future?

“I want a job as a mechanic. I would really like to work on cars and motorbikes.”

3. What have you learned in mechanics?

“I’ve learned the names of bicycle parts. I’ve taken cycles apart and put them back together again. I learned to use the right tools properly. I brought my brother’s bike in and repaired it. We have made a profit by repairing peoples bikes and by selling second-hand bike parts.”
