Top Business leaders visit Abbey Hill & Westlands

Abbey Hill and its partner school Westlands in Thornaby hosted a visit from a group of senior business leaders who came to look around the schools and meet some of the students. The visit took place as part of the Business In The Community and Princes Trust programme called ‘Seeing Is Believing’ which brings business people right into the heart of the community to see for themselves the work that is being done. Our visitors were very impressed with our students and their work and as a result are planning to work with both schools to create new opportunities for our students in terms of their learning, personal development and employability which is very exciting. Well done to everyone involved who helped make the visit a huge success!
