New "Sheraton" building for post 16 provision at Abbey Hill

The new replacement for the Norton buildings is now open for staff and students in January 2006.

Virtual tour and map of the building can be seen here

The Sheraton Building is a “state of the art” building with fabulous facilities and a beautiful finish. This has been achieved through grants from the government, the LEA and also from the heroic efforts of the parents and friends who have raised £25,000 a very considerable sum. Well done to all concerned.

The Sheraton Building is a facility fit for the 21st century and will provide first class teaching areas both indoors and outdoors. After a long consultation process with students, staff, parents and governors it was agreed that the name of the building will be The Sheraton Building. The name came from the link with Thomas Sheraton the famous 18th century Stockton furniture maker.
