Rabbit Attack

(Names have been removed to protect the privacy of the individual concerned)
Guess who? So you thought that rabbits were nice, cuddly, friendly creatures who wouldn't do anyone any harm and do a good turn when they could, did you?... Well, think again.

Read as Mr. X relates his memories of the harrowing incident and find the answer to the question - "Just what did happen to his fated laptop power supply?"

"I think it was one evening last week; it all seems a blur now", began Mr. X. "I remember settling down to bed with my mug of Horlicks as usual, it was about 8:15 pm, when I heard these strange knawing sounds from downstairs." He paused for a while, staring into his cup of strong, black cofffee that he was cradling in both hands. "I didn't think much of it at the time. If only I had investigated further, perhaps it could have all been prevented."

"Anyway, the next morning I discovered the horrific scene. My rabbit (as yet an unproven alegation) had nibbled its way through the power supply cable of my laptop!" Mr. X immediately acted correctly and called the local police in to investiage.

Later we were able to get the following statement from PC Plod, a local law enforcement officer, who was handling the case: "In all my years on the force I have never seen an incident like it. The public need to realise that these creatures, for a long time viewed in this country as harmless pets, can in fact prove to be a real danger. They need to be watched closely - take note of their comings and goings, who they hang about with and in particular watch out for any changes in behaviour patterns."

This seems to be wise advice. Take this sad tale as a warning - the next time it could be you!
